District soccer schedule listed

by Tad Brewer
Landmark reporter

The Platte County Pirate soccer team received its schedule for upcoming district action.

The Pirates were given the number one seed overall. They had a better record than St. Pius, Lutheran, Englewood Christian, and Lincoln.

Platte County received a first round bye, and will play against the winner of the fourth seeded Englewood Christian and the fifth seeded Lincoln game.
If the Pirates are victorious over Englewood or Lincoln, they will then challenge the victor of the number two-seeded St. Pius and the third seeded Lutheran game.

All of the district games will be held at Platte County. The Pirates will play their first game at 1 p.m., Oct. 27. The match up between Lincoln and Englewood is scheduled to take place on Oct. 25, at 5:30 p.m. St. Pius and Lutheran are scheduled to play beginning at 3 p.m., Oct. 27. The Championship game will also be held at Platte County, at 6 p.m., Oct. 30.

The only game the Pirates have before districts is Oct. 23, at home against Pembroke Hill.
