District soccer schedule

The Platte County Pirate soccer team received its schedule
for upcoming district action.
The Pirates were given the number one seed overall. They
had a better record than St. Pius, Lutheran, Englewood
Christian, and Lincoln.
Platte County received a first round bye, and will play
against the winner of the fourth seeded Englewood Christian
and the fifth seeded Lincoln game.
If the Pirates are victorious over Englewood or Lincoln,
they will then challenge the victor of the number two-seeded
St. Pius and the third seeded Lutheran game.
All of the district games will be held at Platte County.
The Pirates will play their first game at 1 p.m., Oct.
27. The match up between Lincoln and Englewood is scheduled
to take place on Oct. 25, at 5:30 p.m. St. Pius and Lutheran
are scheduled to play beginning at 3 p.m., Oct. 27. The
Championship game will also be held at Platte County,
at 6 p.m., Oct. 30.
The only game the Pirates have before districts is Oct.
23, at home against Pembroke Hill.
