James Hillary Hull,
66, lifelong resident of Weston, Missouri passed
away April 7, 2005. A visitation will be held
from 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 10 at Vaughn
Funeral Home, Weston, Mo. Funeral services will
be held from 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 11 at the
funeral home. Burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery,
Weston, Mo. Memorial contributions may be made
to the First Christian Church of Weston.
James was born August 12, 1938 in Atchison, Kansas
to Lena Myrtle (Rees) and James Layton Hull. He
was a member of the First Christian Church, Weston
and the Teamsters Union. James worked as a truck
driver for Blish-Mize Inc. in Atchison for 41
years retiring in 1998.
His parents preceded him in death.
James is survived by his wife Jean (Kelley) Hull,
of the home; son James Kevin Hull and his wife
Gail, Blue Springs, Mo.; son Tracey Alan Hull,
Weston, Mo.; daughter Tamara Gayle Weaver and
her husband Daniel, Weston, Mo.; ten grandchildren
Travis, Katie, Paige Weaver, Mark Ross, Jennifer,
Kaila, James Nathan Hull, Josh, Jennifer and Jake
McCoy, Michael, Nikki and Morgan Hillary Hull;
three great grandchildren Alexandra, Carley and
Joshua McCoy.

Jack
Dunham Pepper, 89, Platte City, Missouri passed
away April 10, 2005. Graveside services will be
held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 15, at Platte City
Cemetery, Platte City, Mo. In lieu of flowers please
make donations to the First Christian Church, Platte
City, Mo.
Mr. Pepper was born January 20, 1916 in Camden Point,
Mo. to Pearl and Galen Pepper. He served in the
US Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict and
was a machinist at TWA until his retirement.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, wife
Ruth Pepper, two brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by two sons John B. Pepper, Overland
Park, Ks. and David A. Pepper, Lenexa, Ks.; daughter
Shirley Hillix Vest, Platte City, Mo.; five grandchildren,
Cole T., Justin R., Melissa L., Whitney E., and
Cody L. Pepper.

Dorothea
Dee Ellen Hough died at home in
her sleep the evening of April 10, 2005, at the
age of 83. Praise God she is now where her ears
will be open to hear again and her body will be
made whole again.
Dee was born in Centralia, Kansas, on November 13,
1921, to Milo and Octa Tate, the second of three
children. She leaves her brother, Victor Vic
Tate of Bellingham,
Wa., and is preceded in death by her sister Eloise
Ellie of Tulsa, Ok. Before marrying
John Jack Hough of Fort Smith, Arkansas,
in December of 1945, Dee taught school in an eastern
Kansas one-room schoolhouse and graduated with Bethany
Hospitals 1943 School of Nursing class, Kansas
City, Ks.
Jack, her husband of 55 years, preceded her in death
March 2001. She enjoyed eating chocolate, playing
the piano and quilting. Dee leaves her family of
eight children and spouses Jack and Joan Hough,
Stroudsburg, Pa.; Judy and Bob Mazzarella, Bohemia,
NY; Richard Dick and Jean Hough, Visalia,
Ca.; Terry Hough, Topeka, Ks.; Nancy and Gary Martin,
Platte City, Mo.; Marty and Darlene Hough, Kingsville,
Mo.; Judd and Debi Hough, Kansas City, Mo.; and
Eric and Brandi Hough, San Diego, Ca. Twelve grandchildren
and ten great-grandchildren also survive.
We thank you, Lord, for this woman of grace. Visitation
is from 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 14,
at Rollins Funeral Home, Platte City, Mo. where
the service will begin at 2:30 p.m. Burial in Platte
City Cemetery, Platte City, Mo.
