These teams have much in common this season.
Both struggle to stop the run. Both have but one win.
Both are suffering through injuries to key players. Both
desperately need a win.
The key to Sundays gametwo unsettled QBs.
The one with the least turnovers wins.
CHIEFS ZONE BLITZ
FB Tony Richardson will give a boost to the KC
offense if he can go. He is listed as questionable but
look for T-Rich to start.
WR Snoop Minnis has finally been moved to the third
WR spot. Chris Thomas gets the start opposite Derrick
Alexander. Good for both players and good for the team.
RB Priest Holmes is the seventh leading rusher
in the AFC and is second in yards per attempt. Needs 25
carries on Sunday.
Trent Green owns the Cardinals. He has a 93.8 QB
rating in 2 career starts vs. the Cardinals with 565 passing
yards & 5-to-1 TD-to-INT ratio.
Both starts were with the Redskins.
Chiefs are still an NFL best 19-7 (.731) in interconference
games since 1995.
Last game in Arizona was in 1995, Chiefs won 24-3.
Steve Bono had a 76-yard TD run.
The Chiefs lead the series, 4-1-1.
CARDINALS ZONE BLITZ
The Cards lost starting DE Kyle Vanden Bosch for
at least six weeks due to a torn MCL this week. Despite
being a first year player he is arguably the teams
best defensive lineman.
Their best run stuffing DB Pat Tillman will also
likely miss the game.
The Cards are giving up 143 yards rushing per game.
(Hintgive the ball to Holmes 25 times)
Watch QB Jake Plummer. If he wont scramblethe
Cards will struggle moving the ball.
Starting RB Michael Pittman will play despite a
concussion in last weeks game.
Both Cardinals RBs have had trouble holding
onto the ball.
The Cards are giving up 22 points per game.
38,000 tickets remain for Sundays game.
