Oct. 3, 2008 - Platte County Pirates (Swimming)

•Evan Cutalo gives it his all in the grueling 500 freestyle race. Cutalo placed fourth at Park Hill last week.

•Drew Cordova helped his 400 free relay team take second at the Park Hill meet and captured a second place for himself in the 100 backstroke.

Oct. 3, 2008 - Platte County Lady Pirates(Tennis)

•Shallen Dautenhahn fights hard for a point at the conference meet last Saturday. Altough not placing there, Dautenhahn took second at the Excelsior Springs tournament earlier in the week.
•Abbey Billings returns a shot in her doubles match with Casey Hoover. The two took 6th place at conference.
•Casey Hoover keeps her eye on the ball during one of her doubles matches during the conference tournament. Hoover also took her #5 singles match against Staley earlier in the week.
•Renee Ernst concentrates on her return during a doubles match at conference. Ernst teamed up with Elise Harrison.
•Rachel Bumstead returns a serve in her singles competition last Saturday at the conference tournament. Earlier in teh week Bumstead took her #3 singles match with Staley, 10-4.
•Elise Harrison stretches to get a return in doubles play at conference. Also, last week Harrison helped the Lady Pirates take 6th place at the Excelsior Springs tournament.

Oct. 3, 2008 - North Platte Panthers(Football)

•The North Platte Panther defense puts pressure on the Lawson quarterback during the Homecoming game last week. The Panthers held Lawson to three first downs as defense shut them out 42-0.
•Coach Jim Brockhoff finds some issues to discuss with his players despite their dominant game against Lawson.
