Household
shower planned
for Lehman family

A fire on Nov. 3 resulted in major damage for the home of Junior and Sandi Lehman of Edgerton. On Saturday, Dec. 8, from 1-5 p.m. a household shower with potluck is being organized by the Edgerton-Trimble volunteer firefighters and the Platte County Sheriff's Department. Family and friends attending are being asked to bring finger foods and visit with the Lehmans at the Edgerton-Trimble Station No. 1, 500 Belt Avenue, Edgerton. Drinks and table service will be provided.

Junior Lehman is a volunteer firefighter for Edgerton-Trimble Volunteer Fire Department and works at Weyerhauser in St. Joseph. Sandi is employed with the Platte County Sheriff's Department. They have three children: Corey, a Navy Seabee stationed in Gulf Port, Miss.; Cody, 13, and Cailey, 12. The family is now residing in a 30' camping trailer on their property in Edgerton, until their home can be repaired.
