Platte Ridge Park planning meeting
is set
Officials from Platte County, Platte City
and the Platte City Parks Board are requesting additional
public input for the development of Platte Ridge Park
in Platte City.
A public open house will be held from
6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on May 8 in the Platte County Administrative
Building, 415 Third Street, Platte City.
A project presentation will begin at 6:30
p.m. This meeting is an opportunity for citizens to
review a preliminary conceptual plan of the park. The
new 215-acre Platte Ridge Park is located at 17130 Mo.
Hwy 371 north of Platte City.
The master planning effort for the park
will be a partnership between Platte County, Platte
City and the Platte City Parks Board.
