Name
chosen for Platte City civic group
A name has been chosen and the first project is underway
for a local civic group.
As an initial project in its organization stage, the
newly-organized Platte City Area Development Association
(the group formerly known as the Platte City Main Street
Association) is attempting to gather names of all businesses
in Platte City. To report your business name to the organization,
call Jody Knighton at 858-2213.
Next meeting for the development association will be
Monday, Jan. 28 at 12 noon at Fannie's Restaurant.
The group is being co-chaired by Paul Whitters and Mary
Ann Brooks.
