Late-night license plate investigations in Platte City last week led another four possible keepers of illegal substances into the criminal justice system.

On July 27, police stopped Ferrelview resident, Jonathan Miller, 23, near 92 Highway and I-29 and found that he had an outstanding warrant in Buchanan County. Miller was also issued a citation for possession of marijuana under 35 grams.

Three others, Jeffery Jones, 47, Timothy Wilson, 22, and Jessica Johnson, 21, all of St. Joseph, were booked on a 24-hour investigative hold after police stopped them near 92 Highway and Prairie View Road on August 1 and allegedly found a possible controlled substance in the car.
